I tried to reproduce the issue on this system - with no luck. Author of Total Commander http: Normally Synn2 list specialized plugins first SynWrite, LinkInfo etc so the other plugins only get loaded when necessary.

Thanks to Andrew and all the contributors for making life easier! Often I need to drop in a block of code but currently in SynWrite text clips are limited to one line. EditPad Lite loaded itself the fastest, and the SQL file maybe 5 times faster than any of the others.

Turns out it's not just the file loading algorithm that's flawed. Not often needed like ftp. Zoom in, zoom out.

But for my HTML coding it needs to have a more comprehensive system for storing longer code snippets TextPad does this well with its clip library. But no such luck. I'm switching between this and PSPad at the moment for code editing and compiling small programs.
